The 44th Conference on Our World in Concrete & Structures is "Qualified for 13 PDUs by PEB"
On 29-31 August last year, OWICS celebrated its 43rd successive year. We are happy to announce 28-30 August 2019 as the dates for the 44th Conference on OUR WORLD IN CONCRETE & STRUCTURES and the theme will be “A Smart and Sustainable World in Concrete and Structures”.
The OW19 conference will be honoured to have the presence of many prominent renown professors and professionals, many of whom have supported OWICS for over 15 years like G M Sabnis, USA; Yogesh Chhabra, Willie Kay and Kiat-Huat Seow, Singapore; Franco Mola, Italy; Shoji Ikeda and N Otsuki, Japan.
The OW19 Conference will continue the ‘Highly Commendable Paper' Awards sponsored by the Supporting Organisations and the Industry.
We cordially invite you to join us in this celebration with a good, important and interesting paper and to share and exchange your experience in anything and everything about concrete and structures.
At OWICS 2019, Emeritus Professor Seng Lip Lee, Dr C T Tam and Ms Peggy L P Teo (Secretariat) will set a record of 43 years of support and attendance in this conference series.

Abstracts (about 300-400 words with keywords) are invited to be submitted in order to be considered for inclusion in the Conference Proceeding and for oral presentation at the Conference. The Conference Proceeding is an official publication and will bear an ISBN number.
All abstracts received are reviewed for acceptance. Accepted texts are also peer reviewed for the Conference Award Schemes. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org directly for further assistance about abstract or paper submission, or further details about the conference venue, travel and accommodation, and other matters pertaining to OWICS 2019.
Please note that it is part of the requirements of submission that the author or one of the co-authors will attend the Conference and present the paper. Papers accepted for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings will have to be registered with a text-inclusion fee (TIF) of SGD450 per paper. All registered participants will receive a copy of the conference proceedings in electronic format. The Conference Organisers hold the copyrights of all papers published in the Proceedings, which will carry an ISBN reference.
