7th Protection of Structures against Hazards (2018)
29 - 31 Oct 2018 Hotel Melia, Hanoi, Vietnam
The International Journal of Lifecycle Performance Engineering (IJLCPE) will be publishing a PSH 2018: Special Issue on: "Resilient Structures against Man-made or Natural Hazards: Advanced Materials and Techniques" with Guest Editors Prof. Tuan Ngo, University of Melbourne, Australia; and Dr. Thong Pham, Curtin University, Australia. For more information, please download the following file:
An inadequate provision and lack of knowledge on the behaviours and performance of structures/components against hazardous loads which caused by human or nature may result in a catastrophic consequences on human life and structural systems. The experience and knowledge from an extensive research, experimental testing and advanced computational techniques can afford a feasible solution to diminish these catastrophic consequences. Thus, this 7th Protection of Structure Against Hazards (PSH2018) conference aims to provide a forum for participants from around the world to review, discuss and present the latest developments in the protection of structures subjected to hazardous load. Special topics on protection of building structures, infrastructure systems, components, and human life under man-made hazards such as impact load, blast load, chemical explosion, fires, or terrorist attacks, etc. or natural hazards such as earthquakes, wind storms, floods, corrosion and natural degradation, landslides, ground subsidence, etc. are welcomed to this conference.
